Uganda and Rwanda tour

This Uganda Rwanda Tour will enable you visit Uganda and Rwanda for gorilla trekking.

Uganda, Rwanda, and Congo are the only 3 nations around the world which host Mountain gorillas. You will surely have a great time by visiting both nations for gorilla trekking.

You will do double gorilla trekking, that is you will visit Uganda for gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and afterwards, you will transfer to Volcanoes National Park for the second gorilla trekking. Our tour guides are highly experienced in gorilla trekking and we are certain that you will have a wonderful experience.

This safari can either start from Uganda or Rwanda.

We will provide you with the best airport pickup services. During this safari, we assume that you will start your tour From Kampala. We will pick you up from the Entebbe International airport to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe

This safari can either be a road trip safari or flying tour. It is possible to fly from Entebbe International airport to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 1: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

On this day, you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The road trip takes approximately 9 hours while the flight to the park is only 1 hour. For client who plan to fly, our tour guide will visit your hotel where you will be picked up and transferred to Entebbe International airport where you will take the flight to Kihihi airstrip which the airstrip that serves the Bwindi park area.

By road, our guide will drive you for about 9 hours to the park. During the journey, you will have a stop at the Equator and afterwards, you will proceed to the western side of Uganda. Upon arrival in Bwindi, you will check in your lodge where you will be offered with the best meals.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi.

Early in the morning, our tour guide will transfer you to the park headquarters where you will join a briefing about gorillas.  You will be briefed about what to expect and how to behave in certain situations. Afterwards, you will be allocated a gorilla group to trek.

There are currently 19 gorilla groups in Uganda. Later, you will move into the Bwindi forest under the company of an armed park ranger while looking out for gorillas.

The armed ranger usually knows the previous location of the gorilla group and they use that as a hint to look for signs about their current locations. After approximately 1 to 8 hours, you will see the gorillas. Upon seeing the gorillas, you will spend 1 hour with the gorilla group.

During this time, you will take wonderful photos. Later,you will return to the park headquarter where you will meet the tour guide who will drive you back to the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to  Volcanoes national park.

It takes about 3 hours to drive from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to  Volcanoes National Park. Our tour guide will available to enable cross to Rwanda with ease.  The transfer will happen during this day. Upon arrival, you will spend the rest of the day relaxing and planning for the next day gorilla trekking

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes.

Just like gorilla trekking in Bwindi,on this day, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for briefing and later, you will be accompanied by an armed park ranger into the Volcanoes National Park in search of the gorillas. It takes approximately 1- 8 hours to spot the gorillas and upon meeting, you will spend just 1 hour around the gorillas. A distance of 10 meters is always maintained. Later, you will return to the park headquarters and afterwards, you will be driven to Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda.

Day 5: Fly out of Kigali.

On this day, you will fly out of Kigali back to your home country.
