2 day Uganda flying safari

The 2 day Uganda flying safari is among the most preferred trip by luxury travellers.

Some of the national parks are very far away from the Kampala, the capital city of Uganda.  The nearest park to Kampala requires a minimum of 4 hours to drive there. And because of this, many airstrips were set up around most of the national parks to support flying to those parks.

Almost every national park has an airstrip that serves the luxury travellers and it is possible to take a scheduled flight or chartered flight to all those destinations.

During this 2 day Uganda flying safari, you will visit Queen Elizabeth National park. Queen Elizabeth national park is served by Mweya airstrip and Kihihi airstrip.

Queen Elizabeth National Park has many wildlife species such as the big 4- lions, elephants, buffaloes, and leopard.

Tree climbing lions which marvel many tourists are located in Queen Elizabeth National Park and if you want to participate in a simple chimpanzee trekking,  you can visit the Kyambura gorge in Queen Elizabeth park.

Before the start of this trip, we shall pick you up from your Entebbe International airport to your hotel. Some of the clients are picked up by the hotel staff to their respective hotels.

Day 1: Queen Elizabeth national park game viewing

Early in the morning, our tour guide will pick you up from the hotel where you will be staying and you will be driven to Entebbe International airport such that you take the flight to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The flight to Queen Elizabeth park usually takes 1 hour.

Upon arrival, you will meet another tour guide who will transfer you to your luxury lodge. At the lodge, you will receive a warm welcome and afterwards, you will be offered with breakfast and packed lunch and later, you will drive to the park for a wonderful game viewing experience. you will be searching out for species such as leopard, elephants, buffaloes, hyena, cheetah, warthogs, jackal, serval, giraffes, zebra, lions and others.

In the evening hours, you will take a boat cruise where you will witness various hippopotamus and crocodiles within the water.  The boat cruise along the Kazinga channel will enable you witness various bird species along the shores. It is remarkable to enjoy the sunset along the kazinga channel. Later, you will return to the lodge where you will be offered with delicious meals.

Day 2: Game drive and later transfer back to Kampala.

Very early in the morning, you will either participate in the game drive or you will take  a hot-air balloon and fly over the park. After the experience, you will get ready to be transferred to the airstrip such that you take a flight back to Entebbe International airport .

At the airport, you will either fly back home or you will be driven back to the hotel.
